Intellectual property (IP) management has become very critical in the academic community around the globe in recent years. Japanese academia has experienced a series of new policy developments in innovation, technology transfer and IP management over the past decade. Such developments are also expected in Vietnam since they are an inevitable path for the domestic academic community, as the country develops a set of economic and educational reforms.

Mrs. Nguyen Thi Van was born in August 18, 1957 in Hanoi, Vietnam. She graduated the Foreign Trade University of Vietnam in 1981. During the time of working in the NOIP, Mrs. Van have joined in so many short-term training courses on IPR matter which were organized by the WIPO, JPO, KIPO, USPTO... and to be a member of APAA and other associations...
